I just went out and tried to start her up and all i hear is the starter clicking, nothing else the engine isnt turning over. all my lights and everything else works fine. my battery isnt too old maybe 7-9 months old. any ideas?
Trust me its the battery, it has a enough juice to power everything esle but doesn't have enough to turn over the motor. I had the same problem on saturday, got a jump from my supervisor and started right up like everything was fine and dandy. Get a optima red top, good bye starting issues.
true, but i had my postive cable at the battery post connector had corosion were the cable goes into the terminal lead. but by all means have every thing checked, cause it sucks to be strandid

Ouch, I know how you feel If that's the case, that's the first thing I hope he checked. Some people just say, crap my car won't start without checking under the hood first before they think it's their starter, alternator or battery when in fact it was just simple corrosion. Some person at my work complained the other day that her car wouldn't start, she thought she needed a new alternator and almost paid for a brand new one. Luckily I told her let me check it out and what do you know, she had corrosion at the battery post connector. Cleaned it off and the car was running like a champ again. Saved her some cash
