Trust me its the battery, it has a enough juice to power everything esle but doesn't have enough to turn over the motor. I had the same problem on saturday, got a jump from my supervisor and started right up like everything was fine and dandy. Get a optima red top, good bye starting issues.

Same happened to my dad's ranger last month, when we tried to start it, it was making that clicking noise. It's the battery Go with the Optima

See if it will jump start. Then take it in to have it tested. Could also be the alternator going bad and not charging properly

#1 Test your battery. Most times than not, it's the battery. Test it and see if it will take a charge.

Maybe, but I bet it's most likely the battery.

Ouch, I know how you feel If that's the case, that's the first thing I hope he checked. Some people just say, crap my car won't start without checking under the hood first before they think it's their starter, alternator or battery when in fact it was just simple corrosion. Some person at my work complained the other day that her car wouldn't start, she thought she needed a new alternator and almost paid for a brand new one. Luckily I told her let me check it out and what do you know, she had corrosion at the battery post connector. Cleaned it off and the car was running like a champ again. Saved her some cash
