This may be a dumb question but i am wiring up my 6al and need a 12v battery source. My battery is in the trunk, can I just put the terminal on the solenoid post that the battery goes on?
Also on the starter solenoid does anyone know what goes on each side of the solenoid of the top of their head? I think the starter wire goes on one side and everything else goes on the other, is that correct?
Yes, the starter solenoid is a 12v source. The alt, battery wire, circuit breaker wire, and the main power feed wire for the car. Then the right side of the solenoid is the power cable that goes down to the starter.
