I have a upr x pipe on its way to me and I need a way to turn off the check engine light. I was going to try to make my own mil eliminators but i have no soldering iron and its just a pain in the but. I have thought about getting a handheld tuner since it will turn off my rear o2's and will let me adjust my speedo for the larger rims i have and gears I plan on getting soon. I already have a steeda timing adjuster and I am just not convinced I will get much of a hp gain out of a programmer. I found a place that has frpp 3.73's and a superchips handheld tuner on sale for $399 plus about 15 shipping. The superchips tuner doesnt allow for corrections in tire size nor does it raise your rev limiter. Their website doesnt specify if it turns off rear o2's. Does anyone have this tuner and like it? I would definately get the gears/tuner deal if it was a predator. Turning off the o2's is important to me.

I have the superchips microtuner. I did experience a sotp gain from it, however it will not allow you to turn off your rear 02s, nor will it allow for rim and tire size changes. The hypertech allows for the tires and rims. I know nothing about the predator. Hope this helps

You should get the predator then. It will do the rear o2's, tire and wheel changes, and raise your timing as well.

A better idea, IMO, is the SCT tuner for $425 - http://www.modulardepot.com/product_info.php?products_id=82

yeah i was just wondering if this tuner was any good because with gears it was only 399, the gears are worth like 150 which would only make the tuner 250.
