is the hi-miler hose kit any good?

It's waste of money IMO. It cost around $100. You can buy traditional standard replacement rubber hoses for less than half that. I have 80,000 miles on my factory hoses. When I have to replace them, I'll spend about $40 bucks and be good for another 90,000-100,000 miles and still have about $60 in my pocket.

The $100 ones are the police option hoses, look much the same. The Hi-miler Goodyear hoses are very hight quality pieces, and for what you get, it isnt' a bad deal. I think I paid $69 for mine. If you consider you get all the hoses, it's pretty good. Upper, Lower, both heater hoses, bypass hose, and waterpump to tube hose.

I got my Goodyears when they were only $50 from summit:

Oh, and then I chopped them up when I got my Vortech :rlaugh:

I can tell form the fact you are using OEM heater hoses that you bought those, like I did, back when they didn't give you molded heater hoses, just a couple loops of heater hose that was essentially useless... ;)
