I just got a price of $28k for the GT loaded (other than standard Shaker). Is that price in the ballpark or is it a rip? Any idea how much more the convertible will go?

Sounds about right. Other people are getting plan discounts and getting them a little cheaper. But overall sounds about right. Atleast you are not being quoted over 30K like some retard dealerships are doing.

What is the sticker price on the car you are looking at?

Right now anything under sticker is good.

Take the price of whatever '05 Mustang coupe you are looking at and add about $4,500.

More like $2800

the 2005 GT Conv loaded is supposed be right around $30k

That seems about right...I paid 27572 for mine and it is fully loaded with the preim. package.....and that is with out any discounts.

mine was 28,400, dealer wouldnt budge on the sticker. And no rebates, not even a military one They did say if you were a member of the Quarter Horses Society you could get a 500 rebate

$30K for a loaded 2005 GT Vert is news to me, I have NOT seen that anywhere.

Look @ 2004 pricing:

04 GT Coupe Premium MSRP $25,470
05 GT Vert Premium MSRP $29,810

Difference = $4,340

I guarantee you that the difference in price between the '05 coupe and vert will be similar.
