is there a metal intake for 3v 5.4's?

mine has a plastic one and i can't find a vehicle with an iron or alum intake manifold. thanks.

It's all about the weight savings with these new composite intakes.


Why do you want a metal one for?

my guess is to chop it down and use it to convert over a M112 blower

If that was easy...we'd all be doing it. hell i would have 3 of them on my car.


Unfortunately it's just easier to buy a supercharger kit and pay the difference in cash

i appreciate the input though i am unhappy with the answer. i put a lot of time into my vehicle(s) and am not afraid to get balls-deep into something custom/detailed/time-consuming. i will let y'all know what i decide to do... and yes, that guy was right, i want to chop and adapt a lower intake to fit a m112.
