Is this a good deal?

Newbie, here, and this is my first post.

I have wanted a Mustang GT (87-93) since High School, when I used to drive one (not mine) on a regular basis. So I have been looking and looking, for several weeks without much luck. I'm in NH, and most 15 yr old cars up here are junk! Then, out of nowhere, this deal falls into my lap: It is a 1990 LX w/5.0 V8, 29K original miles (!), one owner car, out of Mississippi. Body and interior are perfect, as new. A bit of fading/dried out window molding is it. This car was stored outside, unfortunately, but the paint is 100%. Sounds too good to be true, but it isn't. The owner of a local Ford dealer is a Fox-body Mustang enthusiast, and he hunts down these cars on the internet, flys out, and drives them home to NH. He has 5 mint examples in his lot right now. The one I am looking at is probably the best one. I could get it for around $6K. Is this a good deal? The car has been owned by the dealership owner, and supposedly gone through, restored, as it was/is his own personal car. Should I 'settle' for the LX or hold out for a GT? I don't want to pass up a deal this good, on a practically new, 15 yr old car. Also this car is an automatic, which I don't mind, but any concerns there? Thanks a bunch for your help!

Yeah, she is bone stock, no mods whatsoever. This car was (briefly) owned by the dealerships owner. He is a fox body Mustang fanatic. The sales guy told me that he even did a lot of work on his own Mustangs himself. He even took me out into the service bay and sure enough, there he was, working on an ex- Florida Highway Patrol LX that he had just bought! The guy impressed me, and we talked cars for quite a while. His dealership also does all of the work on our police cruisers, and everyone elses in my area. I do prefer the looks of a GT, but just want to make sure that this isn't too good a deal to pass up. It is starting to sound like it is...
