is this a good deal?

JVC, over the years, has been a pretty decent brand. For this unit, though, you'll definitely need separate amps, since the 50Wpc peak will barely power a map light. Fortunately, it has the outputs to hook them up. You may be better off with a non-amped head unit if you're using separate amps, though; you'll likely get better quality for the same buck rather than pay for an integrated amp you won't use.

i dont like em. the internal amp sucks, clipping is an issue for some. but then again only 100 bucks isnt bad.
