Normal people get turned into ass holes once they drive a Skittle. It's like some bad disease. I had a buddy that turned into a total ricer as soon as he got his SRT 4. He used to love classics, etc...now all he can talk about is turboezzzz and how nitrous blows up your motor

I have never, ever met a cool SRT 4 driver. Never.

I have, you can find decent people everywhere, if you look hard enough. I used to frequent that forum and there are alot of good people on there, its just hard to see them because they keep their mouth shut; and stay out of the non tech forums. The people that do open their mouth (constantly) are usually idiots, who are in 16-18 age category and usually know exactly DICK about what their talking about. The same people who use mommies cc to purchase and install (we know spoiled kids cant turn a wrench, lets be reasonable) parts, and also the same people i see at the tracks clicking off amazing 14.8s @ 107. Too bad mommies dont buy them driving lessons.

I was on when that thread started- been laughing ever since. Its not as though any of the 5.0's we see here have to worry about these funny little cars, but they do have some serious insecurity issues. Everyone wants to be king, and, as Clancy Brown said, "There can be only one!" Unfortunately, the SRT-4 didn't bring the natural ability to the table, but their owners seem to think, like a terrier barking at the Rott, it can gain some respectability by using noise and questionable science to garner attention. OK, you spent how much? It does what? Sorry they feel stupid for the inevitable answer to those questions, or the question of how much its going to be worth in 5, or 10 years, or how well it'll perform then, but because ours is a written history, They all aim at us. And that will continue. Its good to be the king, ain't it, gentlemen?

I use to kinda wonder about these almighty SRTs but, after seeing what they can do at the track.. let me say this they are fast for what they are but, in no way something you want to DRAG RACE v8 dragcars with.
SRT= ****y lunching at the strip.

I've seen some fast SRT4's but still they don't seem to trap much higher than 100mph, in my area at least. I let them race with their own type of vehicles such as Civics and whatever else econo FWD cars. For the record, I'd rather have an ION REDLINE over the neon anyday (if we're talking about forced FWD 4 bangers). I HATE the look of the neon.
