Got to the track last friday after leaving the dyno thurs. Kinda dissapointed 344hp and 413lbs with a 80 shot on my 357w. I made a n/a pass of 13.47 with a little timing out so I wouldn't have to change anything for nos. Then I made a nos pass left off the two step at 3700 then sprayed the middle of first and the rest of the way down the track with no power shifting b/c my switch is on the floor. That netted me a 12.30. 1.79 60ft Then I left with my foot on the floor at the same rpm. The car hooked well 1.67 60 ft and went 12.11 at 114.5mph. Does thes this seem normal? What is a 150 shot going to do??? Oh yeah stock t-5 too! lol

First n/a pass 60' 1.97, 330 5.635, 1/8 8.669, mph81.66, 1000 11.278, 1/4 13.476 @ 102.91
Second pass 60' 1.798, 330 5.207, 1/8 7.968 @ 88.49mph, 1000 10.333, 1/4 12.307 @ 114.29mph
Third pass sprying off the line 1.69 60', 330 5.035, 1/8 7.781 @ 88.94mph, 1000 10.145, 12.118 @ 114.50mph

you also have to remember that he has a 351 v. a 302.

From what I have heard/read about the N.O.S. (and seems to be preaty std. across the makers) is that kits hp is tested on a 350/351 engine.

A smaller motor (like the 302) will have alittle less hp/tq as its a smaller engine. The closer you get to that 350/351 the "true-er" the hp hit.

On a engine larger than 350/351 like a 30 over 351 or stroker 351 you will get more power out of a given shot than is listed by the jet size. So a 125 shot on a 351 my be really close to a 125shot, while a 302 may only see 95-100hp, and a 393 may see 130-145 or so as an ex.

Not to mention its going to be diff. with every combo to some extent.
