Can you please tell me if this is put on right or if it needs to be put on the other side? Thanks you are looking at the front end of a 65 coupe drivers side.

looks right to me. It is supposed to limit the steering travel.

It may be on the wrong side, the view in your picture is of the left front looking from the front, here is a picture of my first 66 FB proj of the left front, looking from the back...
