ever since I installed my s/c I've had issues with my car starting. It seems that it takes a lot longer to turn over than before...sometimes I have to hold the key over for a longer period than I'd like to. I was just wondering if this was due to the different gapping in the spark plugs...or does this mean I may have a problem of some kind with the ignition/spark plugs. I've always considered upgrading the COP's but never really had a reason. Anybody got some ideas here?

I have the same problem with my N/A GT. It seems to do it more when the car is warm.

Mine is the same way...sometimes It'll start just fine....then after I'm done getting groceries or whatever....i get back in the car and have trouble turning it over....problem never existed before my s/c install...so I was thinking it was either related to extra stress on the pulley system, or the spark plugs

Checking spark plugs is an easy fix. Start there first so you don't waste cash on new COP's. If they are gapped properly and snug then look somewhere else. Since you are s'cd do you have a fuel pressure gauge? See if you are getting any fuel pressure in the rails. It's got to be spark, air, or fuel.

I've dynoed the car since the install...air/fuel ratio seemed good...but haven't got a fuel pressure meter on it yet....that will be my next mod...but I have a feeling it's got something to do with the starter/spark plugs...I will give em a quick look over today

Is there anything in particular I should look for when checking spark plugs?
what symptoms would a bad spark plug show?
