They look awesome. I'd just be worried about tickets or liability in an accident. You could get F'ed if someone hit you and the cops saw you'd blacked them out. Cant wait for the pics tho... they look very nicely done.

Thanks for the comments all. Here is what I did:

With my first 00 gt, I used the night shades like most people use, and they came out as expected, dull looking. So the next set I did for a buddies camaro, this time we used night shades and then tried to clear them with spray can clear. Once agian dull etc. So this time, I used VHT Nightshades agian, I sprayed them to the darkness I thought I wanted. I then took the lights to a friend who works at a body shop. He clear coated them in the paint booth with normal clear coat just like when you clear a car This is the key to getting the lights to come out amazing like this. Like said, they look like glass! I cant wait to get them on the car! But as stated, its all about the clear coat, that is what makes the lights look so amazing

As far as worried about cops etc, not really. The car does not get driven that much, and hardly ever at night. So not to worried about it right now. I also kept my stock lights for inspection reasons and any other reasons that I would need to swap them out

That looks sick as hell!

But night time isn't when you need to worry about them not being bright enough. I imagine they will be hard to see in the middle of the day with the sun out.

But that looks awesome man.

Looks great! I have used Nightshades on multiple occasions then used DupliColor acrylic lacquer clear coat over the top. Then i wetsanded and buffed the lenses with rubbing compound and they came out just as shiny. Just the budget way I guess.

Those look good for Niteshades.

I had mine done using clear coat with some black tint added, and I'll never go back to niteshades again.

Looks good. If you are worried about people seeing the lights then get LED bulbs for them. They are a lot brighter.

They look spectacular!!

As for the LEDs, dont get the regular ones. I tried that on my 03 with the tinted tails and they were less visable than the regular bulbs.
Eaither get the super bright regular bulbs or get the LED versions that also have the LEDs on the side so the reflector can help brighten them too. The ones I got from Autozone only had the LEDs on the end so the reflectors were usless causingthem to be dark still.

This is a daytime shot with only the tails on and the Sylvania bright ass bulbs.

I forgot you dont have badges or "MUSTANG" on the rear. The tails make it look totally sinister like the car is up to no good.
The whole tail of your car is very unique and very tastefully done. I like it a whole lot!
Ya know, I would venture to say thats the best looking ass I have ever seen on a Mustang.

Can you take a shot of the ass thats also showing the rear tires? I want to see the whole package. Have you been SOTM yet? If not then please send me all the needed pics of your car..... hell send em to me anyway!
