I finally got it running after the oiling issue. I just changed my diaper, so I figure I could sit down again. It's almost like my son being born again, almost. Almost as long too, but alot more work. My son took about 4.5 mins, didn't even break a sweat. But that's another story. So glad to hear it running again.
So I fire it up, and let 'er warm up, check for leaks and what not. Fill the tranny with 2 more quarts so it'll go into gear, and head down the street. I get a few thumbs up from the people that always walk by walking their dogs and what not because it's finally running after 7 months. I get away from my house and foot brake a little. Turbo whine is just, just... well you get it. No boost yet, but the vacuum had disappeared. i let go of the brake, and the front end leaps up. Time to get gas. I put down the street and leave the neighborhood. I am getting looks just from the sound. It is mean, at least to me. the exhuast doesn't come out from under the car yet. Waiting to see how loud it is, and find if I want to run it back of not.
I get to the top of the hill and short shift to second from a light. Give it a little throttl, and it build 2psi almost instantly. I let off, PHEWWW. The people at the bus stops heads whip around, and the kids in the civis I pass looked confused. They recognize the sound, but where's the wing? Where's the fart can ? Where did that come from ? I had such a **** eating grin of my face I just couldn't wipe it off with a rag covered in diesel.
I stop for gas, only the finest pump gas for this baby. $3.20 a gallon. My buddy comes outside from the shop and finally sees what I have been talking about for months. A small crowd gathers. And I will admit, I loved it. " Is that a turbocharger?......on a carb? Does it work ? I just say "I dunno, but it looks cool."
I get my gas and leave. I decide to hit it a little harder this time. I am going about 20mph in second, and give it half throttle. Again, almost instanly see 5psi. All these new noises, I freak out. Between the turbo whistling to 84 dba, and the speed I let off after a second. I don't have the LM-1 hooked up yet, and I'd be pissed off sum bitch to blow one now. The second I let go. I hear this BOOM !!!! AHHH **** I think. It was actually a WHOOSH. But it not quiet, and it was the BOV. Hands shaking I head home and am being tailgated a porsche in the rear mirror. I gave him a quick show and leave it at that.
Get home and jump out of the car and start jumping up and down like Rocky and the top of the steps after his run.
P.S. This is all BRIANJ6500's fault. Do NOT accept pm's from this guy. He will put evil ideas in your head.

Congradulation!!! I have a two stage N2O set up I'll trade you for the turbo stuff. It sounds like it may get you in trouble. I need to get off my can and get in the garage.

Dude, I'd love to help you out, but this bottle is never ending. Plus the noise scares mother people.

12sec67 sent me a phone vid, but couldn't get it to work.
The track numbers are going to be delayed. I had a few bugs to work out, and today, alot more showed up. This thing is fast with no boost. The guage comes to 0, with no boost or vacuum(so air is moving), and the damn thing takes off. But so many bugs to work out. Just have to shoot from the hip and see what happens.
