I just heard from my aunt that they have evacuated... well, I just got this email from my Mother:

Are you keeping tabs on the horrendous fires that are going on in California? They evacuated the entire town of Ramona! Parts of Chula Vista are ablaze, Poway, Escondido is evacuated, Malibu, San Bernadino. It's unbelievable. I just got off the phone with Carrie and Vanessa and they are going to evacuate to here if they are told to leave. It's just horrible. Vanessa has been sending me pix of what it looks like from her front yard. They are evacuating large animals to Qualcomm, Churches, Schools, anywhere that is open. These are the worst fires in California's history. Los Angeles is in danger.

I grew up in Ramona!

My family in Cali might be coming to visit involuntarily..

Horrible as this may sound, it might actually be kind of beneficial for the area if Los Angeles went up in flames. Fire has a sort of cleansing quality to it and, IMO, Los Angeles is just ... dirty...

Sucks for all the people getting their homes torched. Losing everything and having to start from scratch is just brutal. But y'know, then again, it's not like wildfires are a new thing in California - hellooooooo, Santa Ana winds? I mean, these are the same kinda folks that move to the edge of Florida and then act all surprised the first time their house gets flattened by a hurricane.

So cool..... A "Dark" post. Lameness man. People are in danger in SD right now. LA is nothing compared to This in my opinion.

If it weren't for the six total people I care about in San Diego, I'd agree with Darkwriter77's post. Sucks but, things do happen for a reason.

****, sometimes I wish Phoenix would go up in flames.

I'm not arguing with anyone. I stated my opinion and that's that.

There were a lot of times that I'd wished in the past that Saint Joseph, MO would have somehow torched itself in a freak wildfire. That place stinks even when it's NOT burning - the entire south/west area smells like a frickin' pig pen. A good torching would sterilize that friggin' dump of a city.

I hope no one get's hurt but SD could stand to lose a few 1000 houses. It's much to crowded there. Again, I hope your are safe!
