Well as some of you might of heard me mentioning that my car is going through a rebuild. I just got back from the shop this morning and it should be done by Monday or Tuesday. I picked up the heads yesterday morning from the machine shop and man they look nice...excellent head work.
here is a list of whats going into the car.
-BBK LT's- $520.00
-2001 Cobra short-block new with 5 miles on it- $2,000.00
-ARP head stud kit- $220.00
-PORTED Stock Heads, resurfaced, five angle valve job, intake/exhaust work, pocket port etc.- 895.00
-new alternator- $179.00
-modify my Bassani x-pipe to fit LT's
-timing cover gaskets, head gaskets, valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, valve stem seals (heads)
-probably some other stuff i'm forgetting about
I can't wait for this weekend to be over so I can pick up my baby.....I don't have a camera to post pics but I will as soon as I get one next week.
So what do you guys think? I'll be getting either an Autologic or Diablo chip burned once its broken in...then a 125 shot.
