well i went and looked at in the sun and could see some orange peel that i need to try to sand out. also the sun made it look kinda brown i got a pic of it but after i sand and wheel it i will post another see if the orange comes out in it more. If not then i guess we either paint it again or live with it

I love the new copper colored paints that are coming out. Your car looks awesome! I reallly love the metal flakes. How much do you have in the paint job? I know paint is so expensive these days.

It had to be painted twice so i got a little under 1k in the paint job and thats with 2 base coats and 8 coats of clear, 5 with flake 3 without.

Hey thass different! Actually doesn't look too bad. Probably just a little too heavy on the metal flake. BUT- Put a set of early 70's era mag wheels on it and it'd be like a "FLASHBACK' in time.... ! A good cut-n-buff will elivate all the orange peel just as long as the base coat doesn't have any blems. IIRC Ol' Cobraman is the paint and body expert, pick his brain for the easiest fix for the orange peel.

That is one wild looking car. Are the changes in color (green, red, yellow) brought about by the metal flakes or is it in the paint? Have you thought about painting the aluminum trim to match?

i might go eith the black trim if not i am gonna just clean the trim up a bit i think when i start putting the chrome on it it will all tie together.

And yes the color's that are coming out in those pics are from the flakes i have mixed to differnt flakes together sometimes it flakes in just orange.
