Well some of you may remember the Red River Valley (fargo, nd.......moorhead, mn.....grand forks, nd and east grand forks, mn). The Red River crested at 39.5 feet back then and is at 37.5 feet right now....i think it got up to 51 or so feet in grand forks? Not exactly sure but either way, we're getting pounded right now.

Pics i took really quick today... I tried to quick yellow in the area where the river is supposed to be, but without seeing before/after pics i cant describe how high of an incline there is from the river to everywhere else as well.

And here is my dads coworkers house, we went out on saturday to fill up sandbags but he was thinking he probably wouldn't need them as at that time the water was fairly far away from his house, which sits on top of a fairly steep hill (the river is usually about 100+ feet south of his house and 25+ ft lower) We woke up to a call on Sunday saying he needed help sandbagging ASAP.
