It's taking forever to get to 500!!!!

Put a new clutch in and it says to drive it for 500 or 1000 miles before doing anything crazy. Seems like it's taking forever to get there!!! Almost 300 so far! this is killin me

I put one in and did a burnout the moment I started it!

I know your pain....i swapped out a C4 in my car to a 3550 and i was so anxious to bang gears it drove me crazy.

I put in a new clutch and tranny and up at the dragstrip two days later, maybe 50 miles tops. The only bad was my clutch cable snapped in half and I lost my dust shield thing on the tranny.
