ok, my car still isnt starting. when i had my old coil on there it would turn over but not start. so i bought a new coil, the one i got unbeknownst to me was considerably bigger than my old on, but i bolted it on anyway and tryed it. my car did the same thing as before but after a while of tinkering and trying to start it, it would start to turn over slower and slower and now it wont turn over at all. my question is, is the bigger coil gonna help me or hurt me? wtf happened to the car to make it turn over slower? ( sorry i know that was a noob question but im a noob when it comes to the electrical part of cars) and what can i do to fix this? i really wanna drive my car. any suggestions would be usefull. sorry for the length of the post, but im starting to get alittle frustrated with this.

Slower and slower sounds like you managed to kill the battery... Since you didn't give a link to the original problem, only started a new thread I have no idea what you've done to cause the original problem or what you have done to troubleshoot it. #1 reason to keep a problem in one thread...

If you are frustrated, take the night off from the car while you charge the battery back up.

ok, sorry about losing the origonal thread, but just to recap. im not getting spark and i dont know why. i took a volt meter and i have voltage going into my coil but i dont have any coming out. ( on the old coil) so i figured it was my coil. i dont know if this helps or not, if you need any more info let me know. ill tell you what i can.

Have you replaced the TFI module on the distributor?
I'm not suggesting throwing parts at the car if you havn't had this replaced yet. But if you have than I can move on in my head. If not, have it tested.

As a quick TFI test you can loosen the distributor lock downand roll the body back and forth with the ignition key to 'on' and you should hear an injector fire and get spark. It's not 100%, but is easier that cranking the motor over and trying to check the spark that way.
