Well I just barely got some JBA mufflers and installed them. I noticed after I got them on, you guys know that arrow for the exhaust flow? It's pointing the wrong way, the car is barely any louder then stock. Is this going to be a problem? Should I send them back?

Thanks

I also purchased JBA mufflers and had the same problem. As soon as I opened the box I called JBA direct and after a large back order they manufactured a large number of mufflers that way...they basically just welded the outside of the mufflers reverse but the inside is still flowing the right way so you are ok.

As far as them being louder, you have to remember that you are just replacing 2.5 inch mufflers with another set of 2.5 inch mufflers on to an already nice flowing exhaust system from the factory. All you will get is a different tone, and a nice one with JBA if you ask me. You will need a off road or hi flow cat h or x pipe to increase sound and aggressiveness. I went with the bassani x pipe w/cats with my JBA's and highly enjoy it.

I live in Utah, my car wouldn't pass emissions if I did that. So I'm thinking of a catted H-pipe or a catted x-pipe. I want a deeper sound, so I'm thinking of going with the h pipe.

Yea it gives a nice clean/aggressive tone during city driving but when you open it up and has a nice aggressive yell as you heard in the video....sounds better in person, I like it, I'm keeping the set up. Plus I bought the bassani pipe that you can change from cats or offroad in like 30 minutes, its a 6 piece mid pipe part number 46053 if your interested.

I'm thinking of going with a similar set up. How is the drone level with the cated x pipe vs just the axel backs? Do you think the Bassani cats offer a significant increase in flow?

Any input would be appeciated.

The drone level isn't too much of a difference by adding the catted x pipe compared to just mufflers....put it this way, I am not bothered by it. As far as the increase in flow I would say absolutely. I mean I'm not sure what stock cats look like inside but you can see right though the bassani cats for the most part. Overall if anyone is thinking about the set up I have I enjoy it and can't see anyone being disappointed.
