so i went into this mod thinking it really wouldnt add any power, especially not a SOTP difference whatsoever...but id have to say, im impressed.

the car feels a good deal quicker, almost lighter, and more "jumpy" as my roommate described it. also sounds pretty cool at WOT, you can hear that air sucked in a resonating in those 4" pipes.

its a JLT CAI, but i think im getting some serious ram air also. I recently installed an 03/04 cobra bumper, but have yet to install the foglight bezels, or foglamps(long story), so that entire open space where the bezel belongs is perfectly in line with the air filter sticking down under the fender.

maybe its all in my head, but i really do feel a bit more throttle response, and would recommend it...

I completely agree. Ironically, I just installed mine two days ago, and I noticed my Cobra was a bit peppier. By the way, the instructions that were given with the CAI sucked; it was a pain in the butt to install.

Anything over stock is an improvement I really noticed the same difference when I installed my Steeda kit.

Unless it's one of those cheap ass metal tubes that get 100000 degrees.

it really was more of a PITA than i expected. working in that fender was rough, felt like i was doing some serious laprascopic surgery, only without a camera/monitor to see inside.
