Do I need a tune if I throw that on my car? I've heard that the CAI leans out the mixture but I haven't heard much about the RAI..also how hard is the install?

works great, i got teh cold air and converted it to a ram air because i kept sucking up water

i can tell a diffrence ni power if the car has been running for a while, if you want power all the time then the Cold Air, but the ram air makes power too... and the ram air sounds REALLY cool

yeah its a quality piece that looks nice. my only problem was that the 9inch filter was unfortunately just barely too long.. and was rubbing and sqeaking against something. I had to size down to the not as nice looking 6"

i know on the 05+ GTs they tell you to run a tune with the intake. My bro is installing his he acctually tried to put it in last night and then installed his sct tune and he said it felt like he lost lots of power. He said it was wanting to die really bad in second gear he had to basically floor it to get it to move. so im going home this weekend to help him out. i think either he has a vac leak somewhere or installed something wrong cause i dont see how you could mess up a tune. but who knows.

this is why my bro wont talk crap to me about how he has the newer GT cause im the one that installs everything for the kid he doesnt know a dang thing about these cars.

I got my RAI finally, and i definately like it. It feels like its pulling a little bit stronger (by that i mean my throttle response got better) over the K&N

Ive got a jlt rai and was wondering if I would actually benefit from a tune...does the jlt suck so much air that it would make more power with a tune?

Did anyone have problems with their TPS harness being long enough to reach the pre-drilled hole that was on the JLT? Am I the only one?!?
