joining darth vader

really? i used to have to drive an old beat up one at work all the time i hated it, and one of my best friends had one for his firstn car that he got from his grandad and re-built that was actually pretty cool for that body style and since it was his grandad's i thought that was cool but even he wouldn't have bought one to build up.

that one ended getting wrapped around a pole by one of his dad's friends at over 80mph, needless his dad's friend didn't live, it split the elky in half just about, the frame rails were touching in the middle right under the seat. it was so bad the doctor said his was close to exploding from all the blood getting squeezed up and that it was probably almost double normal size just from the blood going to his head. he lived for about 8 hours after the crash. my friend and i went through every inch of the car to make sure it wasn't something wrong with the car that caused, it we never found a thing. he pulled the engine and put it in the 78 silverado his dad gave him to replacce the elky and as far as i know he's still driving it today, haven't talked to him in a few years since he moved away, though.

anyway, sorry to get so long winded and gory about my elky story, maybe that's whay i don't really care for that body style so much but i didn't like them a lot before that either.
