I have to admit that after watching racing today for about 8 hours, I expected a half-effort, slow & sloppy NASCAR event at Infineon. I was delighted and had butt-pucker the last 30 laps of the race.
Juan's previous road experience assisted in the win, I will admit, but being a newbie to this discipline and the car set-up, yet having the balls to ignore his pit chief's continual warnings and threats to conserve gas and go easy, while pushing as he did, was beyond my expectations and left me with a big smile. I even found myself having a small clapping event in my bedroom for him.
Nice performance and first win for Juan.

I simply found Juan's rebel dissent against listening to his pit chief versus Kevin Harvick's but-kissing pit chief compliance hold-back driving was great to watch.
