Not sure on this,, but the 99+ v-6 ones look like the same as the 94-95 v8's.. I was looking a V-6 motor for my T-bird from a stang and noticed it..But didn't really pay 100% attention to it for sure..

I ordered one from a local rebuilder that they said would be for a late 90s F150 pickup, I had to reclock the rear housing and that was it.

i just did mine yesterday. a 96 up v6 mustang is the same alt as the 94-95 130a alt.

my local salvage yard had it for 35.00 with a 10.00 core, came with a 91 day warranty.

no need to reclock it, but you will need a die grinder to grind a little of the bracket on the right side of the alt. about 1/4" deep, about 2" left to right. not a big deal with the die grinder. i didnt have one so i just used what i had which was a grind bit and my drill............trust me, buy the die grinder. lol would have taken me about 10 mins to grind instead of an hour and 3 battery charges!!!

be sure to get the plug that comes with it as you will have to cut the old plug off, solder the new one on and thats about it. you will also need a 3.5" 3/8 threaded screw, 2 lock washers and a nut for the other end of it because the long screw will work on the left side of the alt but the right side isnt threaded.

my salvage yard had 3, and i got the newest which was a 2000 v6 alt. worth the time and definitely beat the 139.99 and 119.99 price from pep boys and oreilys.

good luck.......if you need the website i used for help pm or email me.

Unless you get a warranty dont waste your time and money....I bought a alt off a 94 stang and it was junk so I returened it to the junkyard and he gave me another....same thing....the third was junk so I wanted my money back but he refused....there goes 50 bucks
