Can anyone decode this transmission tag?
The shop called it a TKO, but the tag says 3550. However, some Google results make mention of a "Tremec 3550 TKO, a high power capacity version of the 3550".

Tag reads:

TR3350 0 AGAJK27
2600682 0813

It has 10 spline input shaft and 28 output.

It shifts fine with the car off, but when it gets warm 2nd and sometimes 1st get very difficult to engage. I'm trying to put a value on it so I can get it out of my garage.

From Tremec’s service manual:

  • 2600682 = TR-3550
  • 2600708 = original TKO

It also lists the physical distinction:

  • TR-3550: 10-spline input / 28-spline output
  • TKO: 26-spline input / 31-spline output

If your transmission has the 10/28 combination, then the tag and the shafts agree completely.

I tossed in the .pdf of the service manual just in-case you don't have one.
