I have a extra 8.8 rear end and all it needs is some axles but I dont have intentions on breaking my pockets for a pair of brand new ones...does anybody know what cars i can pull 4 lug axles out of that'll fit in the foxbody 8.8? Do the 7.5 axles fit?

Yes, the axles between the 7.5" and 8.8" Mustang rear ends are the same. Both are 28-spline.

You would need to stick with the Mustang axles as others (pre-89 Thunderbird/Cougars) are slightly longer by comparison.

Lots of owners should have four lug axles sitting around after a five lug swap. I have a pair in my garage. Might be good to post a wanted ad on some sites.
