The block, yes. The bottom end, no. Some motors car run 10 lbs for a long time but that's not alot more than 8 psi

If you have a tuner that doesnt know WTF he's doing.

I will be going to about 13.5 psi (pully swap and AFM Power Pipe water/meth) next spring. My tuner didn't just start tuning cars yesterday either............

Okay...So I just bought a 97 Cobra Convertible as my mid life crisis cure...very solid car that just went over 100,000 miles. I always wanted one (the wife said OK as long as it was A CONVERTIBLE!). So...lots of questions...Durability of the 32V motor...recommended oil?...any issues I should look out for?...any special maintenance needs?...I will be driving this car (250-300 miles/week). Thanks to all.

Got mine (triple black) with 70K 2 years back and have had 0 issues. I garage it winters mostly here in the northeast except to churn the oil once in awhile (can't get it out of the driveway when it ices anyway).

Its completely stock and couldn't be better except I wanted Borla stingers and Borla tells me there isn't enough demand for SN95 96-98! They sell cat back for earlier years. Any suggestions folks? May have to go with Magnaflow.
