What's happening 5.0 talk...I haven't been on here in a while. Life has gotten busy

I am still working a full time job but have gotten my Automobile Dealer License and going to try to make a run with it. It would be awesome to make this my full time job but untill then I have to do both.

I just bought a boat and have been restoring it, I got it about finished

1972 Glastron GT-160 with a 4 cyl Chrysler 140hp outboard. All new decals, painted motor cowl and about 18 hours of buffing and polishing

At first, white chalky oxidation. Notice my first test patch

And my new shop, I have 5 cars in stock now...not including the 5.0. As time goes on I would really like to become the Mustang specialist, offering many model year mustangs and service, the local market might not be able to support my ideas but with a big enough stock and good reputaion I think it might possibly happen...who knows!?!?!?!

Hope you all are doing well...I met a couple of you at Carlisle, we had a great time.

That's a really cool boat, I bet its a lot of work! Those old outboards use some really ancient tech... natural cork gaskets and what not. My brother and my dad both are marine mechanics, and they tell me its hard to get parts for those. Lots of NOS stuff. Is it quick?

Its very quick, especially with a 13 pitch ski prop thats on it now. I have a Michigan PR-80 17 pitch prop thats being refurbished that should put me in the high 40's. The previous owner said he got 54mph out of it, I have my doubts but I am expecting high 40's with it which is pretty fast on the water with a small boat like this
