That is Dave Chapelle man, not Rick James. Dave is someone I think is very funny, I take no pride in it, I just think he is funny. Those that watch the show most likely smiled when they saw it.

I don't think I have to worry about paint chips on my rocker panels! I went to see some fireworks last night and a spike that I couldn't see in the tall grass I was parking in decided to do me the favor of completely ripping my passenger-side panel off. I just got back from the dealer and I'm looking at a $260 repair bill :damnit:

Dude, that is funny.

Last year I was watching the fireworks on the forth and ripped my big toe open on a spike in the grass. Bled like a S.O.B..

Ouch! I think I'll take the rocker panel getting ripped off my car any day over a gashed up toe.

Mods are on the scene and watching this thread.

I do have one question for Nolyaw, you have 135 more wheels horsepower then me and more rubber but you only are in the 12.90s, what's the deal???

I installed the kit, removed my jack from underneath the car, took a shower, took a test drive, filled up with gas, put my wife in the car, and drove immediately to the dragstrip 17 miles away. They close at ten o'clock, I got there at nine. Ther about 12 cars left running. I immediately made a run, and 5 more consecutive runs without stopping. I ran a 13 flat every time except my last, which was a 12.9. I had no experience other than this time with the changed car. Hell I only had 1100 miles on the car before I put the blower on. My launches were horrible, but it was tough to drive that car with that much new power. So, whatever, put John Force behind the wheel and maybe he could rip off a 11.8 with a couple of runs. I had the car on a Dyno for three runs and it made 470, 458 and 468.8 HP. I have more power than a new F430 for $32,000. Maybe Ill get some wrinkle walls and tub it just to get a perfect ET.Its not intended for that. I can absolutely DESTROY anything that comes my way on the highway, which is what I enjoy. If you have the means< I highly reccomend picking one up.

Read my profile. I am 27 years old. I have had 11 Mustangs, three of which have been highly sought after models. I am a walking encyclopedia of '79-'04 Mustangs. I can answer any trivia about these cars. Try me. Of all the stangs I've had (and driven for that matter) they have all been V8's. These cars have always lacked the refinement and quality to make it even worthwhile to have messed with anything but an 8. I have had many cars and nothing compares to sliding sideways in LX 5.0 with some 4.10's and flowmasters. I just dont understand not having that kind of enjoyment while still dealing with broken ash tray doors, crappy seats, yellow headlights, and now rust. Its just not in my comprehension. I dont buy things I cant pay for, I work 75-80hrs a week in my refrigeration business. Im not posting to cause headaches or put anyone down, I just se Stangnet as a forum for Performance car enthusiasts. I just dont see the budget models as any type of performance car. When I think of "MUSTANG" I think of A boss 302 or Shelby Gt500. Or a '93 summer edition with chrome ponys gleaming on the showroom floor. I dont think of a '90 4 cyl or 96 six banger or even those POS '78 "cobras". I'm sorry, I guess if a body style means so much to somebody, without the true heart and soul, I just dont understand. Oh, and whatch out for a '05 silver GT Lowered on 18x 10's with 285/40's and a wicked blow off valve sound on the highway, I eat HUNNY for lunch breakfast and dinner.

The bottom line is, your people skills suck.

If you want to talk cars, go to the tech forums under power adders or another performance driven thread.

When the bottom end lets go on your car, and it will, you will calm down a bit.

I think there is a good shop in Cinci for the rebuild (they do Turbos, I can get the name, you probably know it already though).

And your car is not as bad as you think it is. Missing quite a bit on the torque side and I am sure the graph is not so flat on either line. Please post the dyno sheet, I had a 99GT with a procharger and am interested in seeing the graph on the 05.

Looks like 3 valves are better than 2!!

Torque has since been raised to 426 due to a/f ratio changes and gapping the plugs to .035. I definitely wouldnt mind spending another 5k on a short block at some point. And I will. Then I can put a little tiny pulley on my snail and bust 700HP on the dyno! And the car is bad. Its brand new, less than 2k,and I basically bolted on 200HP for $4! I mean c'mon. Youd have to spend at least 50k on any other new car, and I'm not even sure you could get that kind of juice. It sucks your eyeballs back into your head. The dyno graph is pretty flat, esp. the HP line. Its pretty impressive. I scanned it and tried to post it, but it said the file was too large. I dont know how to do that stuff very well. Just make things cold and work on cars. I had the blower on in 13 hrs with simple hand tools. And take that hood off Clarence, I know youre blind but see your true color!!

Geez..... I go away for a few days and this happens. Some of you need to exercise your sense of humor. Remember it's only Stangnet.

Now go drive your stangs...............
