just got my cold air intake on

just got my cold air intake on and its running like crap? do i have to get it calibrated or something??

check your connections again and make sure you didn't leave something unplugged and check for vacuum leaks.

What they said...

If you hook up everything the way it was hooked up before, a cold air intake should cause NO difference in driveability or idle behavior

like i went to do a lil burn out and it really wouldnt wanna do it like it would stay at 3000 rpm and wouldnt wanna go any higher? maybe cause it was cold?

please dont be doing burnouts if your engine is cold...


There should be no difference... check the maf.... IAT and for vac leaks

if there are bends in the tubing before the mass air sensor, the readings from the sensor could be incorrect because the bends can affect how much air actually goes through the sensor.

try "clocking" it (rotating the housing that holds the sensor) to different positions to see if that changes the way it runs.

+2 cold engine abuse, not cool.

And check everything you did over, you must have done something wrong, car should have zero difference with CAI
