Just got my new wideband kit. Questions inside:

Just got the first half of my self tuning equipment, a zetronix wideband + display.

I'm reading the instructions, and I have a few questions. It says the bung has to be between 10-2 o'clock, 12inches back. I have one on the H pipe, but its at 3 o'clock set up for a wideband. Is it going to be a problem to use the existing bung? (its not a stock location bung, I had a stang shop weld it in for me for this purpose). The instructione mention water condensation, but I wouldn't think it would get back that far, although I have no cats, and 2ch flows/ tailpipes.

Next q: What wire do I tap for TPS input?

Also, what wire do I tap for RPM?

Finally, what wire do I tap for MAF 0-5V input?

The rest seems straightforward, but the cool parts are that I can display the AF, TPS or MAF, and EGT (which I don't think I'll be using) and lambda.

Also has an analog wideband output for another datalogger besides the built in one.

Now I just have to decide between tweecer, RT, and SCT PRP.

Ok, if your getting a tweecer rt, save yourself the install time and dont use the RPM, MAf TPS, etc with the Zeitronix. The Tweecer will take care of that. You bung should be ok, mines at like 1:30. If you do decide to tap those wires tap the RPM to the MSD box(or I think you can tap it to your coil somehow), TPS senser is over by your TB and the MAF is in the fenderwell. I dont know what wires it was but ifyou go on corral or tweecer.oplnk.net and do a search you can find it as I made posts not to long ago about this. I ended up just tapping the wire for the A/F and datologging the rest with the Tweecer tho.

I've been using a bung for my wb at the 9:00 or 3:00 o'clock position for close to three years with no probs.

If you go with the Tweecer you can have your wb show up in the datalogs in a column just the same as the rest of your data like rpm, spark, pulse width, and such. This method keeps all data in sync with no cross referencing or multiple sources of data records.

Might be able to do the same with the SCT but I don't know for sure.

Now I have an issue with the logging of the RPM signal. TPS and MAF voltage come through just fine, however RPM is all over the place, you can tell its the RPM output based upon trends in the graph/averaging out a slope, however the graph looks more like a lie detector graph or seismic graph than a Tach signal one. I checked the Haynes, and that seems to be the one to tap, its Tan/Yellow, and it goes to the coil, the TFI, and the gauge panel. I have it tapped pretty close to the coil, good clean connection in the wire. What did I do wrong? No ignition box on this car, just aftermarket coil (MSD).

I'm looking for a pinout diagram for you... but from looking at the picture.. your data is definitely not right... I'm using he tach signal off my Crane HI-6 ignition, with the zeitronix, and my signal is smooth as glass... well.. maybe not glass.. but maybe that fogged one for the shower.. lol...
