OMG, this sucks. I just got off the phone with Diablo Sport and they told me it will be another month at least before the predator comes out for the GTs. Why would you slack on something so many people want, it doesn't make any sense. Maybe I should give out their number and you guys can all call and light a fire under their a$$. I've ben told for months now that it is coming out really soon. If I were them I would have come out with it before the Cobra one. Think about how many people own a 03/04 Cobra and how many people own 99+ GTs. I would assume like 10x the amount of people. I'm just about to give up on this thing ever coming out.

I understand the frustration, but look at it this way: Would you rather they perform like Microsoft, whose motto is "The world is our Beta!"?

I doubt they are slacking, but rather are making sure that when it comes out, it's worth the wait.

But they shouldn't have advertised it when it wasn't done

What JonJon said. It's been "nearly" available for almost a year now.

All the Diablos have limited authority. I think only 5% fuel and 2% timing - not a lot you can tune with on a modified engine.

Would the SCt tuning package be better? or maybe the superchips max micro tuner?. What should I do now, I already have gears and my speedo is off, and adding extra miles. I have a Superchip, should i get it custom tuned for the time being?

Now I understand your frustration a little more. As far as the gears, you could do a custom tune or get yourself a little black box. Abbott ERA or similar.

As far as Diablo, not to defend them, but they have a lot on thier plate right now, especially with the addition of Mike Wesley.

If it is just the miles you are concerned about, don't spend money on the predator.

No offense, but who cares? (Not trying to sound like a d!ck)

I read the article about it in the new MM&FF where they used it on an '03 Cobra making 610 RWHP. Guess what? That Cobra has a Kenne Bell blower, LT headers and a full exhaust and they don't even give you the slightest clue as to what exactly the Predator contributed towards all that HP (my guess would be hardly any). Read the article for yourself and see. They hype the thing up and don't tell you $hit except all the features it has ... So what? At least give us some numbers to go on!! I wouldn't be so anxious to run out and get one if I were you.

So since you arent being a d*ck why not help me and suggest something for me to do...I need to get the most performance out of my car, and I want to be able to tune myself.

Can you adjust your A/F ratio with it? If not, then get a custom dyno tune.

I just did! I said don't be so anxious to go get one! Seriously ... all those programmers hardly do squat for performance. Yes ... they do have some cool features, but there's better ways to get more bang for your buck. Look around here at some of the faster guys and you'll see they didn't get where they are by simply plugging in a programmer and cranking up the HP. The real HP gains are from bolt-ons ... not plug-ins.

You're not heasring what i'm saying, I dont vcare about getting more from my motor, I want to program for gears. It would be nice to also be able to play wiht my timing on the ECU rather than buying a timing adjuster, the ECU is more accurate.
