Well i decided its time for me to quit smoking. I tried running the other day, and it was horrible, i barley ran 1/4 mile without stopping, where i used to run 7 with no problem, so i bought some nicoderm cq. I dont normally post up in here, but thought i would give it a try. Any one else try to quit smoking? Its hard as hell....if you got any tips to make it easier im all ears. I already got rid of anything in my apt that makes me think of smoking. Just thought id complain a little
Oh yeah, my car is gettin an 8pt cage welded in, and the 347 is halfway built, ill throw up some pics later on when its done.

suckers, straws, toothpicks,etc.....a pen to flip around in your hand will all help with the "habits" and if you read the patch warnings it will say if you smoke you will poss. have a nicotin od.....that is a great mental helper.......reports suggest to break your patterns .....IE take a diff. way to work.....keep working out...that is the best advice I can give.....out of the many diff. ways I tried it was the most effective......last words....DO NOT get mad at yourself if you break down and have one......you still smoked less......take it day by day and reward yourself at the end of each period you make.....over $4 a pack....two weeks....maybe a bolt on for the stang....Good Luck...

COLD TURKEY!

Actually ... I've never smoked ... so I don't know how hard it is to quit. But ... I am a dipper (which gives more nicotine) and I know it would be hard if if I tried to quit. Especially since almost EVERYONE in the Army dips.

I'm not saying take up the bad smokeless tobacco habit .... but look at the results from studies (do a search online). Smoking is crazy bad for your health. I know several people who have switched for this very reason.

Good luck quitting!

ive tried cold turkey a few times...didnt work haha. I considered dipping...which ill probably resort to if the patch doesnt work... i always liked it, but i like smoking better which is why i never got into it. but ill give it a try before smoking if it doesnt work

I know a dude that got hypnotized at an ARENA with tons of other people and never smoked again! I wouldn't believe it unless I saw it myself! If this don't work, just another idea. 30 days to break a habit...dunno if same with smoking. Best of luck man!

Hang in there Nick, it takes two weeks to break the "withdrawal" to the nicotin and after that it is the "mental" dependance. drink lots of water to pass the toxins...
