Just installed a sub in a stock 460 (Cobra Vert)..

It took a lot of internet searching, trial and error, and down time to get this thing installed right. I used an Infinity Basslink since its the best bass in the most compact system out there.

To my knowledge I am only one of a few people online to install a sub in a Cobra Vert with the stock Mach system. I'd be more than happy to take the guess work out of it for any of you that are interested.

Key Point: The mustangworld DIY article is way outdated.

interesting... what did you do differently then the mustangworld article?

how do you like the sound? did you look at the Kenwood wooX?

Guys.. I didn't take pics, but I don't think you will need them anyway. Most of the mustangworld pics still apply. I will post a detailed explanation that should remove any confusion. (sorry, can't do it at work )

i will however, say now:

1. Verts are different than Coupes for installing a sub.
2. The mustangworld article IS outdated, which i will clarify.

I promise I will. I used all the stock parts of the 460.. just added a powered sub. I've been working until 11pm at night all week. We have a quarterly deadline.. I will try to have this done by Monday.
