I just ordered a set of 18x9 with 24mm offset.I am wondering if these will stick out away from the body more or less than the real 18x9.5 20mm??By my calculation I believe the 18x9 24mm outside of the wheel should sit 10.3mm(.405) closer to the centerline of the car. Here is what I come up with,,18x9 24mm centerline of rim is 4.5 minus 24mm(.945),= 3.555 this # represents the distance from the outer face to the mouting face.On a 18x9.5 20mm CL=4.75-20mm(.787),=3.963.The smaller the # the further the rim will tuck under the car.Could somebody please chime in and let me know if I am calculating this correctly.**Also if anybody is running a 18x9 with 24mm offset please post some pictures and what what best tire size to run.
Thank You

You should be okay. I am running 18x9s with a 24mm offset. I have a 265/35 tire on the front and a 285/35 with a .25" spacer on the rear to set it out further. My car is lowered 2.5" and I have no rubbing problems. If you wanted to rotate them you can go with a 275/35 front and rear.

You can check out the pics in "my garage" to the left.

I did not think the question was really that complicated!!!! All I want to know is what wheel would stick out more past the fenders.A 18x9 with a 24mm offset is not going to sit the same as a 18x9.5 with a 20mm offset.I know the 9.5 w/20mm outside egde of the tire sticks out past the fender looking like a low rider.
