look at the plenum/elbow. it has a tube going to it that has a box on it, on the other side of the box is a tube going to the passenger side crank case. you want to pour SLOWLY into the tube so it goes into the intake. there will be white smoke, there will be weird sounds from the car, and it will act like it wants to die, just slow the pour and you should be fine.

correct me if i am wrong, i'm 6 sheets to the wind right now

The PCV valve is on the passenger side valve cover.

Put the whole can in the gas tank and then fill it up.

A cleaner of sorts that can 'supposedly' remove buildup from cylinder walls and intake passages.

I have a 97gt and am very skeptical about using seafoam. The thought of pouring any fluid in my pcv valve makes me queasy. If it works it works and I may try it at some point. Just don't know about it

I refuse to help because the person who started this thread obviously has a major problem with robots

Seriously though, Seafoam is good stuff and all the directions are on the can or the internet...

Good thinking ! All that "mung" cleared out by the seafoam has to go somewhere. Ususally, the oil pump and/or passages. The carbon won't burn. So, where does it go ? Not in the smoke, for sure.

This stuff is the talk of the town in the Mustang community right now. I've heard good things in the Jeep community as well. Some have mentioned not to run it through the PCV/brake booster if you have high mileage, as the deposits which come loose could clog the oil inlet.

Put it through your PCV, make sure it is a clean PCV or even better, new, and it will do what it is supposed to. Just make sure you have a helper to let you know immediately when the can is empty and shut the car down. I have heard to wait 30 minutes before you start it again, I waited 2 hours. Went to start it and it immediately died, I was like WTF! I started it again and held the throttle at about 2500 for 3 or 4 minutes until it stopped smoking and would hold an idle. I immediately noticed a difference in the way the car ran.

BTW depending on your engine, there will more than likely be a mountain of smoke coming out your exhaust so make sure no one calls Fire Dept.

Bottom line, it is straightforward, simple and really works
