autometer sells a fitting so you can put the sending unit in where the fuel pressure test port is on the stock fuel rail. or some after market Fuel pressure regulators will have a port on the back of them. but thats a little more pricey

Ok well I got this far. I know I need a 1/16 to 1/8 adapter but by any chance couldnt I just get that from a hardware store or something?

These are some pics of the sender.

I was always in the thinking that we could find a Schrader valve adaptor to convert it to 1/8. I looked everywhere. even in industrial catalogs. Sorry, but you have to remove the Schrader valve and use the Autometer fitting. The fitting is NOT cheap. But the expense is worth it. Even if you have a 1/4in gauge / threads, you can apapt the 1/8 into a 1/4 and use those style gauges / threads.

AUTOMETER 3280

http://www.jegs.com/i/Auto Meter/105/3280/10002/-1?CT=999

It only takes 2 days to get anything from Summit or Jegs.

Here is a pic of my n2o fuel line and mech. FP guage line off a fitting from the schrader valve.

There is one fitting from the scrader valve to the T fitting, then the lines have an AN fitting in each open T with the fuel line connected to that AN fitting. I would think you could use something very sim. to this.

Running Autometer 3280 here. The schrader valve can be removed with the same tool as the valve in a tire.

If you have FPR, they often have ports on them and will hide the bulky sender a bit better.

Ok well picked up the 3280 autometer one at murrays for 7 bucks (thankfully they had it in stock) Other than putting teflon tape on it any other suggestions, like how tight to put it?

GTA V6 MUSTANG Thats a big sender, myne is half the size.

Autometer recomends that the sensor be away from vibration, but would it still be ok to use the 1/16 to 1/8 then a 1/8 90* then the sensor off the fuel rail?

Its big but it works dead on! and it doesnt look so bad under the hood. And my dog was trying to eat it, lol. Shes so damn nosy. But i Have had it on the rail for a thousand miles now, np. Just got back from vaca, no problems the whole trip there around and back. Funny watching it starting in 30* temp, was a psi or 2 low then on warm up was fine again. Anyway Mine is also large in part I guess because the sender and guage I only paid 45 bucks for. And might I add, a bad ass gauge too. lol. Everyone loves my set up- I will have to get pics for you guys.
