after 130,xxx miles on the clock, I finally bought my self new ball joints,shocks and struts, caster camber plates and a diablo tuner!

i can't wait to have all this new stuff done! never tuned a car before though so this will be a learning experience.

Yeah modding the car can be a really rewarding thing. Your car is going to handle a lot better after that.

Do you have gears my friend? You already have a tuner to correct the tach, so if you dont then please put them at the top of your list. They have more impact than any other "bolt on" mod. Really huge improvement to the car.

Lol i was going to get 4.10, but since my friend is upgrading his 4.30 to 4.56 imma take his 4.30's

4.10s are a thought but with so much out of state traffic in Gulf Shores it's 1st/2nd gear back and forth shifting between a red light every 10 feet and people paying more attention to the 2 million condos down here then the road.(we do have some pretty sweet beaches though)

I swear every gears thread for the last 10 years is the same. The people who dont have them are cautious and want crappy 3.55s while everyone with gears tries to make them see the light and get 4.10s. DONT FEAR THE GEAR!

If I had bought 3.73s, I would have removed them and installed 4.10s by now.

4.10s NA, 3.73s Boosted.

go with 4.10's! i have 4.30's now, and its a very streetable gear, 50mph is about 1900 rpms..

im probably going with 4.56's soon! because i will be revving to 7000rpms!

4.10's boosted with some good tires is a recipe for awesome!! my buddy got a 2000 gt with 4.10's and vortech with all the crap with it, and man, you can pull the fast awd cars out of the hole and keep em back there..

I've had them for 40 or 50,000 miles and can't image a DD 5 speed with anything steeper...heck my first gear is dang near usless now
