just recently won $5000 and prolly all of it is going into car or at least 4000 of it. this was my plans. fipk, accufab 70mm tb, accufab intake plenum, bassani long tube headers, comp cam, performance chip of some kind, body kit and of course some interior work. now i am debating on n/a or blown. i like the sound of a muscle car that lobes but you gotta love the sound of a blower. i have looked at vortec. any suggestions. keeping in mind i would love a body kit but i can get one for pretty cheap. any advice guys. any is appreciated.

how the hell did you "win" $5000? i guess the real question actually is how the hell can I win $5,000?

anyways i would either buy a vortech v-2 SQ blower setup, then use the rest for a nice cervinis hood and bumper of your choice. the options are unlimited

for the money, NOTHING is going to come close to the power of forced induction. get a blower. Paxton or Vortech if you want centrifugal, or Kenne Bell if you want a twin screw.

no offense, but i think body kits are a waste. except maybe an '03 cobra bumper and hood. a supercharger would be sweet. but that would take like 99% of the piggy bank. go with the supercharger and cold air and a shifter and gears. just my .02

take your car to the nearest ford svt dealer and trade it in with your $5k for an 03 or 04 cobra. That's what i would do.

03 04 cobra

SERIOUSLY. If you really do have $5k. Go to your ford dealership and tell them what you have. The car market around here right now is hurting. They would love nothing more than to put you in an 03 cobra. I don't know about financing on SVT's but i bet it's not that bad. A 390 HP stock engine. Go smoke LS1's on your way to church and have a warranty. Get some sticky's, a blower pulley - K&N - and unhook your cat back and run straight h-pipe and you might be able to make some dentist in his new vette look like a dumb***. Don't forget V6 badges for every mentally challenged rev-happy ricer that just watched the F&F for the 867th time. LOL. rice.

You did not say what year your car is but I would skip the mods and go for the new Cobra - you will not regret it!

New Cobra.

Edit: Then again, insurance costs would be much higher with a new Cobra than a late model GT that's supercharged.
