I know you all know that you have to push in the clutch to crank the car. Here's my question. After you crank your car and it is sitting i neutral idleing, when you push in on the clutch, does your rpm change?
Mine can be sitting in neutral idleing smoothly, and when i push in on the clutch pedal, the rpms drop about 400 rpms and it starts surging eventually dying. Now if i can get it to idle with the clutch pedal pushed in, and release the clutch pedal, the rpms jump about 400. What's the deal? Does it have something to do with the electronics that wont allow the car to start unless the clutch is depressed? My car runs great except this is causing me to stall when i push in the clutch to stop at red lights?
