I know that if i do a pi head swap on my 98 gt that i will have a boost in compression to 10.1 so can i still supercharger and if not would it be better to just not worry about heads and cams and just supercharge my car?

If you were to keep your NPI heads, intake, and whatnot and throw on a blower, your output might not be what you're expecting.

You could get a set of thicker head gaskets to lower the compression. Don't forget the supporting fuel mods, and most importantly a good tune.

You should still be able to supercharge the car. You may not be able to run as much boost as you would if you stayed npi. Still i think you should make more power if you did the pi swap and supercharged the car with a little less boost then if you left the npi parts on and supercharged it.

So would 8lbs be to much boost
