K&N drop in filter Verdict (power gain)

After extensive testing with a K&N drop in and a paper filter, I have come to a shocking conclusion. A new drop in K&N filter makes more power than a dirty 30k mile old paper filter. At least my butt feels the car is just a little bit quicker, and power doesn't nose dive in the upper rpms badly as before. It feels more like when I first put the H-pipe on (had a clean paper filter then). As for gains with the K&N compared to a clean paper filter, no idea, but probably no noticible gain.
Sorry to disappoint if you expected this thread to have any technical merit. This thread is infact, completely worthless.
