What is a KAM fuse? If you want to clear the computer's Keep Alive Memory (often referred to as KAM), you can either disconnect the battery for a while, or you can pull the fuse that is in the circuit that supplies power to the computer.

I am sorry, but I don't know off the top of my head which fuse that is.

Does that help a little?

+1 on pulling the battery to clear KAM.

Wonder if pulling the PCM fuse would do it: http://www.mustang-tech.org/wiki/Image:Mustang9495UnderhoodFuses.gif

Pulling the EEC fuse should indeed wipe out constant power to the computer. IIRC, the puter grabs power from the common terminal of the EEC relay, and that relay's common terminal gets power via that 20 amp fuse.
