I'm in the process of re doing the hack job wiring a worthless shop did on my car. I'm wiring the BAP before the FPDM and need to know which wire to splice into (2002 GT). According to all the threads ive seen, you cut the Pink wire with black stripe and thats where you splice in the KB BAP.

The shop that did it previously looks liked cut the pink wire with black stripe but then changed their mind, and went and spliced into the pink wire with grey stripe. The car runs the way it is, but i want to clean up the connections and redo it. Is it correct the way it is?

Also, isnt the red wires from the BAP wired backwards? Shouldnt the fused wire be spliced to the part that comes from the inertia switch and then the non-fused red wire from the BAP spiced into the part that goes to the FPDM?

That does kinda look like a hack job. They should never use crimp on butt connectors for something so critical, maybe a stereo speaker or a light or something, but not the fuel system.
I don't know about which wire to splice in to, maybe someone else can chime in, but I do know that the fused link is always nearest to the power supply. In a perfect world every fuse would be near the battery. In this case the fused RED wire should be hooked to the car's harness to protect the device from overcurrent (frying).
Hope this helps a little bit.

Hey tell me what the abreviations you are using stand for, I have the wiring schematics if you need them.

Here is the instructions I used - worked like a charm!
I also have to agree with Steve491 - those connections should be soldered. I soldered mine, and sealed with shrink tube. Since you are admittedly cleaning up someone else's hack job, make sure you take the time to do it right.
