Has anyone ever seen a Kenne Bell'ed Mach 1? Or is it even possible? I have a friend that wants to save on buying an 03/04 Cobra and get the Mach 1 and just slap a KB on it.

Supposedly they are working on a kit right now, but I have a feeling it will be a while until they are done. (look how long the cobra guys had to wait)

i dont think you will be able to put down the numbers of a 03/04 cobra with a KB on a mach 1 though. the 03/04 cobra block is built for high boost and well the mach 1 isnt.

yea regardless of the price difference... you just wont be able to push a mach1 as far as a cobra without touching internals

w/ an intercooled KB, you will exceed a stock Cobra's output. Mod for mod tho, teh Cobra will obviously spank the Mach1 w/o forged internals.

I thought the heads on the 03 Cobra and Mach 1 are the same?

Either way, the Mach 1 engine isn't exactly an ideal platform for boost with the high compression. A new Mach 1 plus the whole KB kit would probably add up as much as an 03 Cobra. Plus the Cobra wouldn't be limited by compression and weak internals, plus you would get that beefy T-56 tranny.

I'm pretty sure the Mach 1 heads are the same heads (part number wise) as the mercury marauder.
