I had included this inside another thread, but did not get a response... There seem to be a lot of difference in opinion on sub frame connectors. I am planning a bunch of mods for my '03 Centennial vert, but still have some open questions.

Does anybody use the Kenny Brown Double Cross Sub Frame Connectors?

I was looking to add the KB Chassis Support Kit which includes: Super Sub-Frame Connectors, Heavy Duty Strut Tower Brace designed to clear oversized Intakes, and lower Chassis Brace. I wanted to know if this is a good package to consider for street use.

I've seen mixed reviews, and from what has been passed along to me, the tower brace does very little. the sub frames will always make a difference. but after talking with a guy in cali, he said that he went from the KB extreme matrix (their subframes with jacking rail combo) to the MM full length subframes, and he noticed a definate difference in cornering speed. he like d the KB subs, but from what everyone else has said the MM is stronger and more effective... of course others will disagree... so its all in your court.

as far as the lower chasis brace/K-member brace... i dont think it would be worth it in this state of the game... the mustang has a pretty sloppy rear end and in my opinion needs to be adressed first.

why do you want to do the suspension? figure out why and then we can help you with products to fit your application.

I have seen mixed reviews as well. I believe I will go with the MM Full Length subs and skip the rest. The main reason for stiffening the car is for longevity. I plan on keeping the car a long time and want to make sure with the rough New York roads, that it will keep for a long time.

Thank you for the response.

I have the Kenny Brown strut tower brace, caster camber plates, subframe connectors with the matrix brace and jacking rails. I am happy with all of them

if you're going to get KB stuff. get the Full length subframe connectors, matrix, and rail jackings. I'm sticking to my Maximummotorsports.

I have the KB stuff and it did make a a huge difference. I really like the jacking rails also. I haven't seen the Maximum stuff but I'm wondering that if weight was an issue, is the KB stuff lighter?
