i am missing my second set of keys. i am ordering a keyless entry remote from ebay. does anybody have the programming instructions for the remote or know of a write up on it. also, how do i go about getting the right pats key for my car. i see that someone on ebay has these also. what is involved in the key thing? i guess it would be easier to get the key from the dealer...

I don't know off-hand, but if you have your vehicle manual, it might have instructions?

I bought spare remotes and key blanks for my '03 at www.chipkeys.com.
If you click on the remote for your car, a page will appear with links to programming instructions.
You have to reprogram your old and new remotes together at once. I had my blanks cut at Home Depot ($1 each), then programmed them per the instructions included from Chipkeys (and also in the Users' Manual).
To program a new key by yourself, you need 2 working keys. If you have only one key, a special electronic programming tool is required (some locksmiths have them).
I could buy 10 keys plus 2 remotes for less than what the Dealer wanted for just 1 key. A dealer is the last resort for the rich and/or desparate.

I dont know about the key but here is how to do the remote.

Turn the ignition to run then off 8 times within 10 seconds ending in the run position. In a few seconds your doors will unlock then lock, at this time press any button on the remotes (make sure you do both remotes or the original one will be un programmed) after a few more seconds you doors will do the lock/unlock thing and you should be set.
